We just returned from an incredible trip to Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka is the #4 producer of coconuts in the world (last year they grew 3.5 billion nuts)
But what is even more amazing then that is the fact that 70% of those nuts were eaten by the local people.
The leftovers of those coconuts (husks and shells) is turned into coconut coir.
Coir is an popular growing medium around the world.
We were lucky enough to meet Kalum & Sam the owners of Botanicoir,
who toured us around the Sri Lanka coconut scene.
As a thank you we made a lil video for them, showing what they do... hope u like -
